My current position at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology and  Fisheries. I am  also a member of the joint laboratory of Genetics, Physiology and Reproduction of Fish (Institutre of Animal Physiology and Genetisc ASCR v.v.i., Libechov and Research Institute of Fish Culture and Hydrobiology, Vodňany). My teaching activities are Aquaculture, Fish Farming and Ichthyology. My research is focused on fish and sustainable fresh water aquaculture. My laboratory work includes: cytogenetic and molecular genetic methods also partially computer assisted morphometrics.
