Overview
Graduates from the specialized study programme Exploitation and Protection of Natural Resources gain deep expertise in the management of natural resources, utilizing obtained knowledge in soil science, hydrology and hydropedology, environmental chemistry, meteorology, microbiology, toxicology, and remediation of the environment. The studies focus mainly on soil assessment, conservation and protection, water resources protection, air protection, processing and exploitation of wastes, and reduction of human impacts on the environment and remediation. The application of new methods of natural resources assessment, exploitation and protection are integral to the study, which includes advanced chemical analyses, geographical information systems, and mathematical modelling.
