MSc programmes offer students a high-level university education which is provided by the compulsory curriculum complemented by the student’s own choice of specialized subjects. Programmes consist of compulsory subjects, compulsory-optional subjects as well as optional subjects. Special attention is paid to practical trainings in well-equipped, modern laboratories where students can bring their theoretical knowledge into practice and make their own experiments to fulfil requirements for diploma thesis . Students work in multinational teams which gives them invaluable benefit of peer teaching. MSc programmes last two years, are thesis oriented and are completed with the defence of the MSc thesis during the MSc degree state examination.
The study programmes educate specialists in particular scientific and professional business areas and are designed as a follow-up after BSc graduation. All of the study programmes conform to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Students are encouraged to participate in exchange programmes at other European Universities (e.g. Erasmus+ programme). Credits obtained at other European universities within exchange programmes are accepted as equivalent to credits in respective study plans at CZU.
The following programmes are fully taught in English by Czech lecturers, visiting international professors from our EU partner universities. This is why a good command of English is essential. Native English speakers as well as non-native English speakers including Czech students can participate in these programmes without restrictions. Erasmus students are especially welcome to participate.
